Oneweigh uses a range of couriers to deliver its goods. The carriers we use are typically but not limited to, Parcelforce, Royal Mail, City Link and Myhermes. To keep things simple we promise will get your goods to you as quickly as we can - in nearly all cases this will be within 3 working days of receipt of your order and payment but in many cases it will be next day for goods ordered prior to 1pm. The only exception to this will be for stock availability reasons and in this case we will always contact you by email or preferably phone to ensure our planned delivery is acceptable to you. The address supplied by you will be confirmed to you in your order confirmation.
We will deliver the goods to the address you specify for delivery in your order. It is important that this address is accurate. All of our couriers will take the goods back to their depot if no one is available to sign for the goods. Details of how to contact the courier to arrange a more suitable time to deliver will be on the card. After three failed delivery attempts the goods will be returned to us. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions (unless this is caused by our negligence). We will aim to deliver the goods by the date quoted for delivery but delivery times are not guaranteed. If delivery is delayed due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, the delivery date will be extended by a reasonable period and we will contact you to arrange an alternative time.
You must ensure the address and postcode entered during checkout is correct , further delivery costs will be incurred if the address supplied is in-correct and the delivery cannot be completed. Items returned to us as "un-deliverable" by our couriers will not be re-dispatched until extra postage costs have been paid in full. It is the buyers responsibility to provide an address suitable for delivery where the item can be checked and signed for. A signature given at the address supplied by the buyer will be taken as proof of delivery. You should ensure that the item can be successfully delivered and signed for at the address you have supplied. "
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
Any damage incurred during transit to you must be reported and documented to firstname.lastname@example.org with photographic evidence within 48 hours of receipt of the goods. Oneweigh Online Ltd will not be held responsible for any damage reported after this point.
Returns & Cancelations - Consumers
Under the Distance Selling Regulations consumers have the legal right to cancel an order within seven days of receipt of goods (with the exception of any made to order items). You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your contract nor will you have to pay any penalty. Unfortunately unless the item is faulty or supplied in error we will however not be able to refund any original delivery costs. Unless the goods are faulty or supplied in error, you will be responsible for the costs of returned postage. We would strongly advise you to use a trackable means of returning them, suitably insured to their value as we cannot refund against returns we have not received. We will notify when we have received the goods and again within 5 working days to confirm your refund has been processed.
Prior to dispatch you are able to cancel your order in full, and we will refund your card immediately. Please contact us by phone immediately on 0800 030 6654 if you wish to cancel your order. If the goods have already been dispatched then you will need to return the goods under the Returns policy detailed above. You must not unpack the goods when they are received by you and you must send the goods back to us at our contact address at your own cost and risk delivered to us within 7 days of your original receipt.
Returns - Business Customers
Our business to business transactions returns policy is as follows;
We believe that you will be delighted with your order but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
No returns will be accepted or processed without a Return Materials Authorisation (RMA) number being issued by Oneweigh Online Ltd. Goods are not supplied on a trial basis. Customers are responsible for verifying suitability and compatibility of goods BEFORE purchasing.
Your statutory rights under the 'The Sale of Goods Act 1979' (including amendments) are fully supported by Oneweigh Online Ltd. The 'Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000' do not apply to business purchases.
For Unwanted Goods
If you are a business customer, you may return any unopened goods, in original condition, which can be sold again "as new", within 14 days after the day of receipt of the goods. Customers are responsible for the delivery costs of returning the goods. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a return.
You will be refunded in full (except for delivery charges) once the goods have been received and confirmed "as new". You will be liable for all administrative costs associated with the return of the goods, and this may well constitute a restocking fee which you will be advised of when arranging your return. Returns must be adequately packed and the RMA number clearly displayed without marking the original packaging.
We do not accept returns after 14 days from the day of receipt of goods, or on goods which have been opened and cannot be sold again "as new."
Returned unwanted Stamped, EC Verified, Trade Approved, or Labelling and Receipt Printing Scales, attract a 20% restocking fee, to cover the time and administrative costs of having them re-approved for a future customer. Charges relating to Calibration Certificates, or Product Programming are not refundable for returns of unwanted goods. Specifically, programming charges will not be refunded if the customer has provided written acceptance of the label, and/or receipt, and keyboard layout samples supplied by Oneweigh Online Ltd.
Orders of Individual Calibration Weights or Weight Sets of any class (M1, F1, E2 and E1), are not eligible for cancellation or return, under any circumstances, if they have been ordered with either UKAS or DAkkS Certification.
For Faulty Goods within 30 days
If there is a fault with your product you may return the product within 30 days of delivery for repair, replacement or refund. Please email our Customer Care department email@example.com to arrange a return.
Goods must be received by Oneweigh Online Ltd within 14 days of the RMA number being issued. Oneweigh will not be held liable for goods lost or damaged in transit. Customers are responsible for the delivery costs of returning goods. Any return found not to be defective or with faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse will incur a return freight charge.
When an item is to be replaced or refunded the goods must be in original packaging, and with all original boxes, packing materials, manuals, blank warranty cards and all other accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer. Goods must be adequately packed and the RMA number clearly displayed without marking the original packaging.
Our promise to replace products or refund your money does not apply to faulty goods where the fault has been caused by accident, neglect or misuse.
For Faulty Goods more than 30 days
All products carry a twelve-month manufacturer warranty and in some specific cases more. Once your product is more than 30 days old (but within the manufacturer warranty) we will, in conjunction with the manufacturer, repair or replace it free of charge. It is solely at the discretion of Oneweigh Online Ltd as to whether a repair or replacement is provided. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org stating the reason for return, your order number, and request an RMA number. Our warranty is a 'back to base' system and therefore customers are responsible for the cost of returning goods to us.
This does not apply:
- To faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse.
- If you return the product to us without proof of purchase.
